Abit launched a new motherboard this week, the Fatal1ty F-I90HD. It's based on the ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 chipset and supports the Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Extreme processors with FSBs up to 1066MHz.

The motherboard features the X700-based integrated Xpress 1250 graphics chip and features a HDMI 1.2 1080p HD video output.
The board supports up to 16GB DDR2 800/667/533 memory and 4 x SATA 3G RAID 0/1/0+1. There's onboard PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet support, 7.1 channel HD with optical S/P DIF Out and 10 USB 2.0 ports.

For the Fatal1ty F-I90HD Abit only used high-end Japanese capacitors and solid state capacitors in the CPU and PWM area for enhanced performance and stability. The motherboard also features silent North and Southbridge cooling.
