Posted on Wednesday, February 21 2007 @ 19:32:18 CET by

The Inquirer had five minute chat with Intel's Pat Gelsinger today.

Gelsinger said that it's still unclear what AMD's Barcelona processor will offer, but that Intel is not standing still.
He said that although it's still unclear what AMD's Barcelona will bring to the party, Intel is "not standing still". He said that Intel will be able to produce better bins and bus rates during this year.
They also heard that an announcement about Intel's CSI plans is expected at the Intel Developer Forum in Beijing within two months.
