Intel to make 45nm Penryn based server CPU in 2H 2007

Intel said today that it will start manufacturing a 45nm Penryn-based server processor in the second half of this year.
That, said Kirk Skaugen, general manager of server platforms, pulls in production by one quarter plus.

He said Intel will launch a Clovertown LV (low voltage) chip at 50 watts - 12.5 watts a core, in two weeks time.

He also said that Nehalem is on track for 2008. This slide below outlines everything he had to say about targets.
