SanDisk will soon debut a new read-only memory card, which can be written only once.

The card uses a new 3D memory technology which is likely based on the Matrix Memory technology which SanDisk acquired in 2006.

These write-once cards will be very cheap and will be usable for long term storage (100+ years).
