“To cope with the ever-increasing details in today’s games the graphics card manufacturers look for all kinds of solutions. The most obvious one is making the cards faster, but such an approach has negative consequences in the shape of overheating. So if you decided to go all out and overclock your card beyond all limits the amount of heat generated would rise as well.
