Intel to launch next-gen mobile chipset on May 8th

Gizmodo writes that Intel will introduce its next-generation Centrino mobile chipset, codenamed Santa Rosa, on May 8th.

The new mobile platform will support the Core 2 Duo, 802.11n WiFi and HSDPA.

More details will follow within the next few weeks.
