Asus PG221 - widescreen 22-inch LCD display for gamers

Asus presented a new widescreen display for gamers at CeBIT.

The 22" LCD display uses the 1680 x 1050 widescreen resolution and has a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The brightness is 300cd/m², it has a 2ms gray-to-gray response time, a 170° viewing angle and 16.7 million colors.

One of the nice extras is an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam and a 2.1 audio system, the subwoofer of this audio system is integrated in the nicely designed LCD stand. However, Engadget reports the sound quality was only average.

Other features include touch-sensitive controls, DVI-D, D-sub, composite, S-Video, component, microphone jack and three USB 2.0 ports.
