Blu-ray to replace DVD by 2010?

The Blu-ray disc association claimed this week at CeBIT 2007 in Hannover, Germany that the blue-laser HD format will replace DVD within three years.

Frank Simonis, chairman of the European Blu-ray Disc Association, says within three years it will just be Blu-ray.

He didn't talk about how the adoption of HD DVD may evolve.
