ATI R700 planned for Q1 2008

Fudzilla claims the upcoming R700 graphics chip from AMD is currently scheduled for the first quarter of next year. Lets hope that it won't be as late as the R600.

Much details aren't know yet, except that the chip will support DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model 4.0.

By the time that the R700 reaches the market NVIDIA should have its G100 ready.
