Buyer's Guide: Ultraportable notebooks

Posted on Sunday, March 25 2007 @ 16:27:10 CEST by

Earlier this week PC Mag published their ultra-portable laptop buyer's guide. Here's a snip:
This class of portable PC is not just for the business-minded. What better way to cut across campus than with a little laptop cradled to your hip. If you're in the market for an ultraportable, you just want something that will keep you connected at all times and won't slow you down. You're not into big, fancy screens. You're not a gamer or a performance seeker, though you can be with today's ultraportables. Weight is clearly the biggest factor in your purchasing decision, and ultraportables are typically in the 4-pound-and-under range.
