NVIDIA GeForce 8500 and 8600 benchmarked

The chaps from The Inq got their hands on GeForce 8500 GT, GeForce 8600 GT and GeForce 8600 GTS benchmark results.

These tests results come from a system with a 2.66GHz QX6700 procesor, Intel 975X based motherboard and 2x 512MB DDR2 memory.

For the pedantic, all had 256MB of memory on a 128b bus. The 8500 had a 600Mhz core with 400Mhz Hynix DDR2 memory and the 8600GT ran at the same 600Mhz with 700Mhz Hynix DDR3. The 8600GTS was the odd one out, it used Samsung DDR3 at 1GHz with a core clock of 675Mhz.
