NVIDIA GeForce 8800 series launch dates and prices

The launch dates and prices of the NVIDIA GeForce 8000 mid-range series have been leaked. The GeForce 8500 GT, GeForce 8600 GT and GeForce 8600 GTS will launch on April 17, the GeForce 8300 GS and GeForce 8400 GS should follow soon after.

The GeForce 8600 GTS will sell for $199 to $229, the GeForce 8600 GT for $149 to $159 and the GeForce 8500 GT for $89 to $129.

Here's a reminder about the specifications of these cards:

GeForce 8600 GTS: 256MB GDDR3, 675 MHz core, 1000 MHz memory.

GeForce 8600 GT: 256MB GDDR3, 540 MHz core, 700 MHz memory.

GeForce 8500 GT: 128MB to 256MB DDR2 or GDDR3, 450 MHz core , 700 MHz memory.

GeForce 8400 GS: 450MHz core, 400MHz memory. Only for OEMs.

GeForce 8300 GS: 450MHz core, 400MHz memory. Only for OEMs.
