ATI R600 gets naked - photo without heatsink

Posted on Wednesday, April 11 2007 @ 23:10:34 CEST by

FUD Zilla snagged a photo of the ATI R600 GPU without its heatsink.

The card you see in the photo is the huge 12.4" version which uses a copper heatsink with four heatpipes. The base of the cooler is aluminum and a big fan is used to blow hot air out of the copper fins.

The card features 1024MB memory and has a 8-pin and 6-pin power connector.
