Posted on Friday, April 13 2007 @ 06:12:05 CEST by

A recent survey from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) found that 28% of U.S. households now have a HDTV, last year the number was only 15% according to a survey from Frank N. Magid Associates.

The report says 35 million HDTVs are in American homes right now, and another 16 million are expected to be sold by the end of this year.

86% of the people with a HDTV say they are "highly satisfied" with their purchase, CEA reports.
