SiS671FX for Windows Vista in mass production

SiS announces the PCCHIPS P33G motherboard, which uses the SiS671FX chipset, has entered mass production. This is a low-budget motherboard designed for Windows Vista.

With the SiS671FX/SiS968 chipsets, PCCHIPS P33G motherboard is able to support Intel CoreTM 2 Duo and Intel CeleronTM D FSB1066/800/533MHz processors. As for memory capacity, it supports DDR2 667/533 memory, and the memory size is able to reach 4GB. The PCCHIPS P33G motherboard is compatible for Windows Vista. Therefore, it supports all the security and reliability features of Windows Vista. Also, the motherboard is designed to deliver the outstanding graphics performance. Embedded with SiS Mirage3 graphics engine, the PCCHIPS P33G motherboard delivers excellent 2D and 3D performances. It even performs extraordinary image effects when playing games or animations. In addition, it provides one PCI Expressx16 slot with up to 4GB/s transmission bandwidth for each direction. Such a great design fulfills the gamers’ requirement of further upgrading.

The SiS968 Southbridge chipset is paired with the SiS671FX Northbridge chipset to enrich the functions of the PCCHIPS P33G motherboard. With the SiS968 Southbridge chipset, the PCCHIPS P33G is able to support PCI Express x1 interface. Besides, it integrates two independent Serial ATA high-speed transmission port and eight USB2.0 ports. Furthermore, it supports High Definition Audio to provide Dolby Surround audio output. In order to provide high-speed internet access, PCCHIPS P33G motherboard also supports 10/100Mbps Ethernet Network.
