DigiTimes heard the next-generation Intel Eaglelake chipsets are slated for the second quarter of 2008:
HKEPC cite the motherboard makers as pointing out that the chipsets support 1333MHz FSB processors, including Intel's upcoming 45nm dual-core processors (Wolfdale) and quad-core processors (Yorkfield). Memory support is upgraded from a maximum DDR3-1066 to DDR3-1333 and will also add support for DDR2 memory up to DDR2-800. The southbridge chip will be known as the ICH10 series, however, there is currently no specific information on this chip, added HKEPC.
