Samsung 3.2Gbps GDDR4 and DDR3 converter

The Inq spotted two interesting things at Samsung's booth at the IDF in Beijing.

The first thing they saw were GDDR4 memory modules running at 3.2Gbps and 2.4Gbps GDDR3 memory.

Another interesting was a memory converter:
The most interesting thing they had was still being unpacked when we wandered by which is why it looks so messy. You can clearly see the converter in front, heck it takes a SO-DIMM and converts it into a DIMM.

This type of adaptor opens up some very interesting possibilities for laptops, desktops and performance SO-DIMMs.
