AMD Applebreds spotted in Japan

As usual the Japanese always receive the new stuff first. The Japanese Akiba spotted the AMD Applebred CPUs. These have an FSB of 266MHz, and 64KB L2 Cache. They run at 1.5V. They have also better thermal characteristics than the previous AMD Duron CPUs.


The price of the 1.4GHz version is 4980Yen this is about $42.5
The 1.6GHz version costs 5980Yen, which is around $51
