Intel P35 chipset launch on June 4th

The big launch of Intel's new P35 chipset is expected on the 4th of June at Computex in Taiwan:
Intel did told a few partners that they will be able to launch in May but I guess Intel changed its mind about the strategy and probably has more 975 and 965 chipsets to sell. As of June it will all be painted in P35 and G33 chipsets.

Nvidia is slowly taking Intel chipset crown and have some good sales with Nforce 680i SLI, and 650i SLI and Intel can not let that happen. At least ATI with its RD600 is out of the picture.

P35 will be positioned as the performance chipset but not as high end as in Q3 Intel plans a new chipset called P38 meant for real enthusiasts and overclockers. Usually when Intel says Q3 this means end of the quarter rather then the beginning of one.
