Intel files patent for flexible display technology

Intel recently applied for a patent for a method of manufacturing flexible displays:
Now Intel is throwing its own hat into the flexible display ring and has filed for a patent which describes "A method of fabricating a flexible display, the method comprising selecting a first flexible sheet and a second flexible sheet; and forming a number of magnetic display elements having magnetically controllable reflectivity between the first flexible sheet and the second flexible sheet."

Translated into English, Intel's patent outlines a device that uses a pair of flexible sheets which sandwich some magnetic display elements between them. These magnetic display elements would have a varying degree of magnetically controllable reflectivity, with said reflectivity determined by the location of the pixel relative to the flexible, nonconductive sheets.
