Microsoft Windows XP SP3 to be launched this year

Earlier this week, Microsoft indirectly confirmed it will release Service Pack 3 for Windows XP later this year.

There were rumours that Microsoft had canned SP3 but a press release on Microsoft's website regarding interoperability between Juniper Networks Unified Access Control (UAC) and Microsoft Network Access Protection (NAP) indicates that Windows Vista supports it already and that Windows Server 2008 (Longhorn) and Windows XP Service Pack 3 will support this later this year.
