Rumours are spreading on the Web that ATI is working on a new 65nm R600 core. This may end up becoming the R670 or R650:
The sources confirmed that 65 nanometre R600 is not just a shrinked chip, it is a redesigned core scheduled for introduction in Q3.
This new design is said to make much higher clockspeeds possible and should increase the texture power.
