Intel gets SLI license from NVIDIA

The Inq reveals Intel has received a SLI license from NVIDIA! They posted some photos on their site to back up the story.
You don't believe us? Look at the tag on the picture below. The deal was confirmed multiple times by the vendor and others.

Below the tagged shot is a full board one with most identifying things blanked out to save the vendor's blushes.

We wondered previously what Intel got from Nvidia in exchange for the tie-up that put more Nvidia chips on Intel boards. Now we know.

We can't say we're surprised though. In return for a CSI licence and a dual-socket chipset licence, however, we reckon Intel overpaid.
