Motherboards to get System Recovery Tool from Intel

Motherboard maker ECS showed off Intel's new backup utility called System Recovery Tool. The Inq saw it and says it may have the potential to put several third party software makers out of business.

This tool will be integrated in the BIOS of motherboards with Intel chipsets and users will be able to access it by pressing a function key (like F3) during bootup.

System Recovery Tool has partition, disk image backup and recovery features.
The image creation process is very simple - press the F3 key, pick the option Create new image, choose what partition will be backed up and the destination (different partition, CD, DVD medium).
