NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT - new mobile GPU

NVIDIA launched its new GeFore 8700M GT GPU for notebooks today. DigiTimes reports:
As with the entire GeForce 8M Series notebook GPU lineup, the GeForce 8700M GT delivers DirectX 10 gaming performance, Microsoft Windows Vista graphics, and HD DVD and Blu-ray video playback, pointed out the company.

The NVIDIA GeForce 8M series GPUs make DirectX 10 3D games and high-definition (HD) video playback on notebooks a reality with features including a unified architecture that delivers up to a 70% performance improvement compared to previous generation GPUs for Windows Vista and other GPU enabled applications, said Nvidia.
