Sony said that a PSP phone is not in the works. Rumours started floating around that Sony Ericsson might be working on such a phone after a site discovered a patent application for something that looked like a combination between a phone and a Sony PSP portable gaming handheld.

Pocket Gamer reports:
Following on from our recent story about the unearthed Sony Ericsson patent for a phone displaying a suspicious similarity to the PSP, we can report that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe CEO, David Reeves, has denied that a PSP phone is in development.
