A German magazine called Focus claims Apple is developing an in-car entertainment system. The magazine says the system would be powered by a mobile version of Mac OS X and would offer entertainment, communication and navigation functionality.

Focus reports that the first "carputers" from Apple will be build into Mercedes cars in 2009. Mercedes will supposedly receive a 6-month exclusive, afterwards other car makers will be able to incorporate the system too.
