The NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS GPU will be launched today. Sparkle is one of the first to send me some info about their new SPARKLE GeForce 8400 GS graphics cards. br />
Sparkle has two GeForce 8400 GS models, the SF-PX84GS128U2LP-HP and the SF-PX84GS256U2LP-HP. Both models feature a 450MHz core but the first one has 128MB DDR2 memory while the second card has 256MB DDR2 memory.

The card has a memory interface of 64-bit, RAMDAC clocked at 400MHz and 900MHz shader clocks. There's DVI-I, HDCP and support for HDTV resolutions up to 1920 x 1080i.
Based on NVIDIA’s next generation G86 architecture, SPARKLE GeForce 8400 GS Graphic Cards adopt innovative unified architecture, dynamically allocates processing power to geometry, vertex, physics, or pixel shading operations, delivering up to 2x the gaming performance of prior generation GPUs. Built upon technologies such as NVIDIA Lumenex Engine, providing support for DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0, NVIDIA Quantum Effects technology for physics computation and GigaThread Technology for extreme processing efficiency in advanced, next generation shader programs.

SPARKLE GeForce 8400 GS Graphic Cards allow users to experience the latest gaming effects without compromising performance. Helped with 450MHz core speed ,900MHz shader clock and 128/256MB High speed DDR2 video memory, SPARKLE GeForce 8400 GS Graphic Cards boast the 3D graphics features of today’s most advanced GPUs—including full support for Microsoft DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 and true high dynamic-range (HDR) lighting—SPARKLE GeForce 8400 GS Graphic Cards also bring stunning, high definition video and superb picture clarity with minimal CPU usage with NVIDIA PureVideo HD VP2 technology.
