Dell PC with Ubuntu $50 cheaper than Windows

Dell made a post at their IdeaStorm website comparing the price of two similar systems, the one featuring Windows and the other Ubuntu Linux. The system with Ubuntu is $50 cheaper than the one with Windows Vista Home Basic. A Dell admin later posted at the site that on average, a comparably configured Ubuntu system will cost $50 less than a system with Windows.
