Sony PS3 gets $100 price cut + new 80GB PS3 model

Last week Sony officially denied that a PlayStation 3 price cut was coming up but today they've rolled out a press release that confirms the price cut and introduces a new 80GB PS3 model.

Sony says the 60GB PlayStation 3 console's price will drop from $599 to $499.

The new 80GB Sony PlayStation 3 will be priced at $599 and will be bundled with MotorStorm.
