Word is out on the streets
that the RV670 chip from ATI will arrive one quarter later than expected:
AMD sales machine is telling everyone that they will have a 55 nanometre version of RV670 chip ready in Q4 but we can confirm that this chip is going to slip in next quarter.
Some people in AMD already know that the chip and the overall 55 nanometre production is pushed in early 2008 but AMD has to tell something to its furious partners as the current mainstream and low end fail to perform.
