SiS is working on some new AMD chipsets:
SiS will launch the performance level SiS 757 and mainstream level SiS 772 IGP chipsets plus the new SiS 969 southbridge in the first quarter of 2008. SiS 757 and 772 will support Socket AM2+/AM3 processors, AMD's Cool 'n' Quiet technology and HyperTransport 3.0. The SiS 772 IGP chipset will have the Mirage 4 graphics engine integrated which supports DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0 and SiS Real Video technology. The IGP chipset will also have HDMI and HDCP support. Both chipsets will be paired with the new SiS 969 southbridge, noted the sources.

SiS 969 southbridge adopts SiS's MuTIOL 1G communications protocol and supports ten built-in USB 2.0 ports. The chipset also supports two ATA 133 ports and four SATA 3Gbps ports with NCQ. The chipset provides RAID 0/1/5/JBOD/0+1 modes, four PCI Express lanes and built-in high-definition audio, added the sources.
