Intel Core 2 Extreme X7800 for notebooks popping up

Intel has rolled out a new Core 2 Extreme X7800 processor for notebooks, Techpowerup reports. This chip is clocked at 2.6GHz and features a 800MHz FSB.

The X7800 has an unlocked multiplier and some Belgians managed to overclock it to 3GHz.

One of the notebooks which features the X7800 is the Asus G2S notebook:
* Intel X7800
* Motherboard with Intel's 965PM chipset
* 2GB DDR2 667MHz memory
* GeForce Go 8600M GT 256MB GDDR3
* 200GB Toshiba 4,200rpm SATA HDD
