FUD Zilla claims the 45nm Harpertown processors from Intel will achieve a frequency of 3.16GHz:
The top of the line Xeon X5460 will work at the quite odd speed of 3.16 GHz and will have 12 MB of cache, quad core and FSB 1333.

It will use the same old FC-LGA6 socket, the same that you can find in many servers today and the most expensive one at 3.16 GHz will cost $1,139 at launch.

In this case the CPU will use 9.5 multiplier and it will get quad core at over 3 GHz. Intel X54x0 is the naming pattern for all Penryn based server parts.
