NVIDIA closes gap with Intel in graphics market, grows 82.9%

New data from Jon Peddie Research indicates that NVIDIA is closing the gap between it and Intel, while AMD/ATI is struggling. NVIDIA made significant gains in the desktop market, achieving a market share of 43.5%. Intel only had 38.5%.

In the notebook market Intel dominated with 51.5% of the market, NVIDIA had 27% and AMD 21%.

Here's a table which shows each firm's marketshare and total shipped units for last quarter and the same quarter a year ago:
