The Tech Report published some info about the pricing of AMD's Barcelona processors which will be launched on September 10:
According to DigiTimes, AMD plans to roll out two quad-core Opterons on September 10: a 1.9GHz Opteron 2340 and a 2GHz model known as the Opteron 2350. These two processors will cost $320 and $390, respectively, and they'll both have 95W thermal ratings. If those prices are accurate, the chips will both cost roughly $20 more than quad-core Xeons with similar clock speeds (i.e. the 1.86GHz Xeon E5320 and the 2GHz Xeon E5335).

With the first batch of Opterons out the door, AMD will reportedly prep for the launch of a 2.2GHz Opteron 2354 in October. DigiTimes says that chip will have the same 95W thermal rating as its 1.9GHz and 2.0GHz brethren, but its price tag will be $610. That's about $100 more than what the 2.33GHz Xeon E5345 costs today.
