AMD's upcoming SB750 southbridge will include support for RAID 5 mode, VR Zone reports.
AMD has another successor, the SB750 that will be supporting RAID 5 mode. However, SB700 and SB750 are the essentially same apart from RAID 5 support. They support 12 USB 2.0 ports and 2 dedicated USB 1.1 ports, 6 SATA 3Gb/s ports and eSATA, HD Audio, up to 2GB Flash memory for ReadyBoost and ReadyDrive. By end of next year, we should be seeing SB800 for RD890 chipset.
