ATI working on tri and quad CrossFire support

VR Zone got their hands on details of AMD's plans for the ATI Catalyst drivers for the next couple of months.

Soon we can expect a driver which will add single connector CrossFire, a month later software CrossFire will follow, CrossFire Overdrive in October and support for Quad/Tripod CrossFire should arrive in November or December:
8.41 Aug/Sept: Single Connector CrossFire
8.42 Sept/Oct: Software CrossFire
8.43 (Oct): CrossFire Overdrive
8.44 (DX10) / 8.46 (DX9) Nov/Dec: Quad/Tripod
8.45 (Vista only, 2 displays)
8.47 (XP) Dec/Jan: Extended Desktop
