Sony PSP to get new features

Sony talked about some of the new services it will launch in the near future for its PlayStation Portable console.

Here's a look at some of the upcoming expansions:
  • Go!Video will be available in some countries and allow users to watch video on demand and on the move on their PSP

  • Go!Explore will add GPS functionality to the PSP with in-car and pedestrian GPS navigation as well as other services like points of interests.

  • Go!Messenger will allow PSP users to message or chat. Users can also buy a headset or the Go!Cam add-on webcamera to enable voice or video chat.

  • PlayTV will be launched in UK, France, Italy, Germany and Spain next year and will offer a combined TV tuner and personal video recorder solution for the PS3.
