Sony PSP to get new features

Sony talked about some of the new services it will launch in the near future for its PlayStation Portable console.

Here's a look at some of the upcoming expansions:

Go!Video will be available in some countries and allow users to watch video on demand and on the move on their PSP

Go!Explore will add GPS functionality to the PSP with in-car and pedestrian GPS navigation as well as other services like points of interests.

Go!Messenger will allow PSP users to message or chat. Users can also buy a headset or the Go!Cam add-on webcamera to enable voice or video chat.

PlayTV will be launched in UK, France, Italy, Germany and Spain next year and will offer a combined TV tuner and personal video recorder solution for the PS3.
