AC Ryan AluBoxDVR Digital Video Recorder launched

Posted on Sunday, August 26 2007 @ 03:26:27 CEST by

AC Ryan has launched its AluBoxDVR Digital Video Recorder, a storage + media machine which plays all types of media. It features a CF/SD and MMC memory card ready and features a remote control to easily navigate from your sofa.
  • Listen to Music with the most popular digital file formats MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC from your harddisk or MediaCards.

  • Watch Video from your own recordings or downloaded videos in various popular formats DIVX, XVID, AVI, MPEG2, MPEG1, VOB (DVD files) etc.

  • Photo Slideshow lets you view your photo images from your harddisk or MediaCards. Great for viewing the vacation photos directly on a TV Display! Simply slot in your camera's MediaCard and watch.

  • File Browser lets you manage the files on your harddisk and MediaCards. Copy them to / from harddisk and mediacards.

  • More flexibility & portability with an external casing. Compared to a desktop digital video recorder, this AluBoxDVR is small and portable. Plus you can put in your own harddisk of your choice, upgrade your harddisk when you need a bigger one, install an existing harddisk and also use it as an external harddisk for your data storage purposes!
