Intel today announced that they are going to discontinue the Intel Celeron 2.0GHz CPU. Reason is because market demand has shifted to higher performance Intel Celeron processors. But support for the Intel Communications Group for Embedded Applications will continue.

The last Boxed version of the 2.0GHZ Celeron will ship at June 11, 2004, and the last Tray version at Nov 11, 2004.
