Editorial: Intel's Future Plans

Right after talking to AMD's John Freude, we had the opportunity to talk to Tim Bailey of Intel about their soon-to-be-released 45 nm processors, and other products beyond the horizon.

We were given the latest update on the release schedule of their Penryn family of 45 nm processors as well as future developments like Westmere (32 nm) and Castle Peak.

"Right after our talk with John Freude of AMD, we also had the opportunity to talk to Tim Bailey, Intel's APAC Director of Marketing about Intel's future plans. He touched on everything from the Penryn which is just-over-the-horizon to Intel's next-generation 32 nm process technology. Let's start with Penryn.
