Intel to bring dual core processors to desktop market in 2005

At an analyst conference last Thursday Intel said they are likely to introduce dual core processors for desktop computers somewhere in 2005!

In the same year Intel also plans another dual core processer, two weeks ago they announced that their Montecito Itanium is planned for 2005, with two cores and 24MB L3 cache memory.
