Lacia's new Biggest Quadra storage solution features four high-capacity hard drives in RAID to deliver a massive 4 terabyte storage capacity. The Biggest Quadra supports FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0 and eSATA interfaces.
An extremely secure and high-speed solution, the Biggest Quadra offers top-notch processing potential by exploiting the power of four removable, hot-swappable and lockable hard disks in one system that can meet the needs of data storage, protection and archiving for today’s small businesses. For additional peace of mind, the Biggest Quadra reacts to drive, fan or power failure, and will even shut down if temperatures rise above 55 degrees Celsius (131 degrees Fahrenheit). Should a drive fail, insertion of a new drive automatically rebuilds data without any downtime.

The Biggest Quadra ships with professional backup and recovery software, EMC Retrospect Express for Mac and PC. Since the Biggest Quadra is plug and play and driver-free, setup is quick and easy.
A 3TB and 4TB Biggest Quadra will be available in October for $1,599 and $2,199, respectively. A 2TB version will already be available in September for $1,099.
