AMD Barcelona event to be webcasted

AMD announced everyone will be able to watch the launch event of the firm's new quad-core Opteron "Barcelona" processors on the web:

Date: Monday, September 10, 2007 6:30 p.m. PT

The event will be webcast live and can be accessed at http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?p=irol-eventDetails&c=74093&eventID=1641244.

A replay of the webcast can be accessed at this site approximately one hour after the conclusion of the live event and will be available for 10 days after the event.
