Intel's X38 motherboard to arrive in Q4 2007

Posted on Friday, September 07 2007 @ 16:42:51 CEST by

The first Intel X38 (and X48) chipset based motherboard are expected later this month but according to FUD Zilla it will still take quite some time until Intel's own X38 motherboard will be available:
However the Intel's own X38 motherboard won't be available until Q4 2007.

Some vendors, such as Asus and Gigabyte, will struggle to launch their boards in late September, but the real McCoy comes in Q4.

X38 will be significantly faster than P35 and will bring some nice features such as dual PCIe 16x PCIe 2.0 slots for Crossfire only and Extreme DDR3 memory overclocking.
