Mod a Radeon HD 2900XT into a FireGL

Some clever guys created a new driver which will turn an ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT into a FireGL V8600, FUD Zilla reports.

This mod may save you quite a lot of money if you're into OpenGL 3D rendering as the FireGL card costs more than 3.5x more than the Radeon HD 2900 XT card.
