AMD Barcelona vs Intel Clovertown and Tigerton - leaked benchmarks

Posted on Saturday, September 08 2007 @ 22:07 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck
The launch of AMD's K10 processors is coming closer and closer but it's still pretty quiet on the Internet about the performance of these chips. Fortunately some benchmarks are finally rolling in, George Ou published some leaked data over at ZD Net.

In general this leaked data seems to back up what Michael Dell said earlier this week: Intel about 30% faster at integer, AMD about 30% faster in floating point.

UPDATE: ZD Net just updated the last graph, the 35% advantage should have been over August E5345 scores and not off September E5345 scores.
