AMD Socket AM3/G3 to support DDR3

FUD Zilla heard a new AM3 socket will be unveiled in late 2008 or early 2009.

This socket will introduce DDR3 memory support on the desktop platform while the G3 socket will do the same on the server platform.
AMD will probably push the G3 server version first and than it will follow with the desktop AM3 processors.

AMD’s future in 2008 begins to look a bit brighter.
