Tuniq, a subsidiary of Sunbeamtech, will enter the power supply market in October.

According to our friends from Chile Hardware we can expect a 950W, 1000W and 1200W model. These units are priced at $259, $299 and $330, respectively.

One of the special things about the 950W model is that it has a standard PS2 form factor, so it should fit perfectly in any case. This model has a 80 plus efficiency and features Japanese caps.

The 1000W and 1200W models are marketed with a very high efficiency of up to 87%, with average efficiency of 86% and minimum efficiency of 82.3% at 100% load. Sounds pretty promising. These units have Japanese caps and features a quiet 135mm fan + 80mm fan which produce a max of 30dBA under 100% load.
